PCD Members Voted to Approve Funds to Hire Two Paid Canvassers for the Midterm Ramp-up:

Applications will close Aug. 5 with interviews being scheduled Aug. 8. Canvassers will start on Aug 15. PCD leadership will pre-set the timing and location of canvasser activities and coordinate with precinct leaders and volunteers to motivate expanded impact of our Blueprint 2026 campaign. We will promote all local, county, district and state candidates and events that engage community members with candidates.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Cyndi Munson Door Knocking event is scheduled for Thursday, July 23rd from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brew Brother Coffee, followed by a Meet and Greet from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Miracle Church of God in Christ.

Payne County Democrats Committee Chairs and Precinct Captains meeting scheduled for 6:00 PM on July 27th at the PCD office headquarters in Stillwater.

Trish Ranson for House District 34 - Debut Door-Knocking Event and PCD Voting Deadline Phone Bank: July 25th (The voter registration deadline for the upcoming August 25th election is July 31st.)

PCD Monthly meeting - scheduled for 6pm on Aug. 13 at office headquarters.

PCD Blueprint 2026 - Canvasser Kick-Off Party - scheduled for August 15th at the PCD office headquarters.

Early Voting: August 20th and 21st from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, as well as August 22nd from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

August 25th Election: You can complete your voter registration at https://okvoterportal.okelections.gov/Home/RegWizard.

Wednesday Aug. 25 - Saturday Aug. 29 - Payne County Fair -- Payne County Democrats will be registering voters, hosting candidates and organizing with volunteers at the Payne County Fair. Come visit our booth to get involved in the early fall Blueprint 2026 campaign, learn about our BrayFest 2026 event and donate toward our efforts.

Second Thursday of the month, Monthly Meeting
Second Weekend of the month, Day of Action
Third weekend of the month - Media Content Meeting and Planning
Fourth Friday of the month - committee chair reports due to Central Committee

Fourth Saturday of the month - Central Committee Meeting to draft agenda for next meeting - discuss any other items that we need to take to Committee Chair members

Last Monday of the month - Committee Chair meeting - final opportunity to adjust agenda for next general meeting
