A Right, Not a Privilege

Oklahoma ranks among the worst states in the country for healthcare outcomes. Too many of our neighbors go without coverage, skip essential treatment, or face financial ruin just to afford life-saving care. We believe healthcare is a human right—not a luxury.

That’s why the Oklahoma Democratic Party is fighting for:

• Expanded Medicaid access and the full implementation of voter-approved initiatives

• Increased funding for rural hospitals and local clinics to keep care close to home

• Mental health and addiction services that meet the needs of every community

• Prescription drug reform to stop price gouging and put people over profits

• Preventative care and reproductive healthcare access so individuals can make informed choices about their bodies and their futures

We know that healthy communities are strong communities. When Oklahomans have access to the care they need, they’re better able to learn, work, and thrive.

The status quo—where insurance companies and out-of-state lobbyists dictate who gets care—has failed us. It’s time to put people first, protect public health, and build a system that works for everyone.
